Specialist equipment manufacturer Altecnic, whose product line up includes expansion vessels have been forced to expand themselves, taking on extra warehousing space next to their Staffordshire headquarters.
Business growth has seen space become increasingly tight over recent years, so the company have taken on 20,000 sq ft of temporary space close to their existing building.
MD Stuart Gizzi explained “We have plans in the pipeline to extend our current buildings, doubling the existing space but building work isn’t due to start until the spring, so we had to look for a short term solution. The business has grown steadily over the years, but this year has seen a particular upturn in the market for thermostatic control and specialist products, which has been brought about by an increasing awareness of the need for energy efficiency as well as changes in part L.”
