NEW KID ON THE BLOCK
Young professionals are seeking city centre jobs to enhance their busy lifestyles.

That’s the view of the latest recruit to join Birmingham-based recruitment consultancy Angel Services Group, which recently opened an office in Brindleyplace.

Tim Ki-Kydd, aged 22, was lured by the firm’s location, expansion plans and unique way of doing business – “The Angel Experience” – which is focused on good customer service rather than just sales.

Tim, of Sutton Coldfield, previously worked in sales and corporate insurance and said he was looking forward to a fresh challenge in a great location.

“It is all new and exciting at the moment and made more so by being in Brindleyplace,” he said.

“Working in the city centre is definitely something that appeals to me and certainly to a lot of other young professionals too.”

Tim will split his time between Brindleyplace and the company’s original office in Walsall. The new head office has allowed bosses to attract high calibre candidates to join the expanding team.

They feel the city centre move fits in with the lifestyle choices of many top professionals and they have already taken on new staff.

Director James Ball said: “Having an office in Birmingham city centre has meant people like Tim want to join our team and we are delighted to have him on board.

“He and others like him will help us to achieve a fairly ambitious growth plan for the next five years.”

Angel Recruitment places up to 20 candidates per month across a wide range of career fields.
