ANGELS DESCEND ON BIRMINGHAM CITY CENTRE
Angels have arrived in Birmingham city centre and wasted no time in meeting the neighbours.
Recruitment consultants Angel Services Group has moved into new offices in Brindleyplace and the team recently met Sea Life Centre mascot Myrtle the Turtle.
The firm is keeping its original office in Walsall but the new head office has allowed bosses to attract a new pool of high calibre candidates to join the expanding team. They feel the city centre move fits in with the lifestyle choices of many top professionals and have already taken on new staff to work there.
Angel recruits for management and board level permanent positions throughout the UK and currently places up to 20 candidates per month. It is also expanding its own way of doing things – “The Angel Experience” – which is focused on good customer service and value for money and is a reversal of the perceptions often held about recruitment consultancies.
Director James Ball, who helped set up the firm five years ago, said he was delighted to be in Birmingham.“We have a fairly ambitious growth plan for the next five years and having a city centre presence in Birmingham is just the first step,” he said.“We now have prestigious offices in a fantastic location, so it is a very exciting time for the business.”
The company has just had a record month (JULY) and is looking forward to further success.
James Ball said the move was a chance to attract excellent people to join the team. “I think the lifestyle of being here in the city centre appeals to a recruitment consultant,” he said.
Not only is it a fantastic working environment but you have top-drawer bars and restaurants on your doorstep.”
He added: “The expansion is going really well and the best marker of that is we are getting access to an incredibly diverse pool of people wanting to work for us.”
