Collaboration to build future business leaders
Mixing the science of business practice with international business acumen is a recipe for success and inspirational debate. The Executive Education arm of Aston Business School recently launched their first Executive Forum which brought together many high profile business personalities from the Midlands region. The successful event was designed to bring together the best minds in business for thought provoking and inspiring interaction. And as a result, the school and one of the forum participants Goodyear Dunlop have begun what all parties hope will be a long and fruitful relationship. Mark Brickhill, Goodyear Dunlop UK Group Managing Director has already delivered a presentation to MBA students on one of the school’s programmes.
He said “Partnerships between Aston Business School and Birmingham based global companies such as ourselves are vital. For us, it is an opportunity to engage in inspirational exchanges, sharing successes, best practices and promoting the development of business leaders both in our organisation and the wider West Midlands community.”
The Executive Education team will also engage with Goodyear Dunlop’s own top executives to determine how an interaction between them can maximise the opportunities and benefits that shared experience and knowledge has to offer.
“The core objective of Executive Education is to take our world class knowledge and research outside of the university and into the business community. The association between ourselves and businesses like Goodyear Dunlop enables the sharing of knowledge between practitioners and theorists and also provides a showcase for our research and talent.” Commented Dr Mike Grojean, Head of Executive Education at Aston Business School.
Aston Business School is considered to be one of the top rated business schools in the UK and is held in high international regard. Executive Education at the school has been providing bespoke management training solutions for private and public sector organisations for over 20 years.
