Diamond anniversary art unveiled at Birmingham city centre venue

Eye catching artwork has been unveiled to celebrate a diamond anniversary at Conference Aston in Birmingham city centre. The visually striking, sculptured glass pieces, created by Birmingham artist Eryka Isaacs, takes up a commanding position suspended from the ceiling and walls of the entrance foyer in Aston Business School Conference Centre, the flagship venue within the Conference Aston portfolio. The work, entitled 'Electron Stream' consists of separately hanging components, made from fused and slumped glass, containing copper foils, powder and fine wires.
Paul Bunce of Conference Aston said "This installation is incredible! It adds an extra dimension into what was already a cutting edge interior in a virtually brand new building. Conference Aston brings together the worlds of business and learning and this inspirational piece draws, as good art is meant to, attention and discussion."
