One Midlands bar owner has been offering his regulars a helping hand to say goodbye to their old drinking pal, cigarettes, this week. The imminent approach of the ban has got many jittery but Bar Sport has engaged the expert help of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) specialist, Matt Caulfield, to inspire customers to kick the habit.

SMOOTHING THE BLOW OF THE BAN
For a large section of the population, Saturday night is going to be a bit of a sad affair – saying goodbye to an old drinking pal. The smoking ban which is effective from Sunday 1st July will see many trying all sorts of methods which will allow them to still visit their favourite watering hole whilst not suffering the anguish of not having a cigarette, as oppose to risking the good old English Summer weather and standing outside. One Midlands bar owner is offering his customers a helping hand and encouraging them to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

FOOTBALL LEGEND JOINS FANS FOR MATCH
Football legend Tommy Docherty joined fans on Saturday afternoon at Bar Sport in Cannock, to watch the FA Cup final between Manchester United and Chelsea – both teams he has managed in his long and illustrious career. He was joined by guests for a pre-match lunch and provided some highly entertaining comments on the match, the teams and personalities involved as well as the new Wembley Stadium.

Something funny going on at Bar Sport
Cannock’s Bar Sport, which has a reputation for being passionate about sport are set to be at the forefront of fun with the revival of their popular Comedy Club, starting on Thursday 31st May. An exciting line up is planned, compered by the very dry and very funny Rob Riley.

The streets will be quiet the afternoon of 19th May as every football fan in the UK sits in front of a TV either at home or in their local bar for the clash of the titans of the sport – Manchester Utd and Chelsea – in the world’s most highly rated domestic competition, the FA Cup Final. But Cannock’s Bar Sport is delivering a special afternoon for fans, as well as showing the match throughout the bar, it is hosting a lunch in its Premier Suite with football legend Tommy Docherty.
