IMPRESSIVE LINE OUT IN RUGBY

Champagne corks were flying as stars of the sports world and local dignitaries turned out to celebrate the VIP launch of Rugby’s newest venue, Bar Sport.
Company owner and sports enthusiast, Scott Murray who has invested more than £1m in the plush and high tech new bar, threw open the doors for the fist time to welcome invited guests and sports celebrities for an evening of music and hospitality.
Amongst those on the guest list were footballer Paul Merson and World Cup Winning rugby player Steve Thompson, who is also a Tetley Ambassador. Steve said "If any bar is going to work well in Rugby it’s this one. There’s a good feel about it and a great atmosphere, the only danger is that with so many sports and so many TV's you could end up with square eyes!"
Early in the evening the Mayor of Rugby and her consort also arrived and give their seal of approval.
Bar Sport Rugby is now open and offers the ultimate experience for enthusiasts to eat, drink and watch sport. The innovative interior features zoned areas, that allow for different levels of enthusiasm and participation. On opening night the main bar area proved to be an ideal spot to view the stage, the TV monitors and for people watching and absorbing the atmosphere as the crowd enjoyed an exciting evening.
