Something funny going on at Bar Sport
Cannock’s Bar Sport, which has a reputation for being passionate about sport are set to be at the forefront of fun with the revival of their popular Comedy Club, starting on Thursday 31st May. An exciting line up is planned, compered by the very dry and very funny Rob Riley.

Commenting on the revival, Bar Sport owner Scott Murray said “In the past we’ve had a great line up of up-and-coming comedy performers, we’ve seen some very funny stuff. This new season of comedy shouldn’t be any different. Typically a comedy club evening, which we hold in our Premiership V.I.P Lounge, combines great headline acts with something from relative newcomers who are simply given the opportunity perform and to make us laugh!

We’re always hearing how the famous funny men – and women started out on the ‘comedy circuit’ which is how audiences in venues like ours get to experience the next big names.”

Headlining will be Craig Campbell, whose set should have the audience in fits. He’s supported by Rob Hitchmough and Smurf Docker who between them will provide a riot of fun.

Scott added “There really is nothing funnier than live comedy, and with tickets priced at only £5.50, there’s no excuse for not experiencing it for yourself.”

Tickets are available from Bar Sport or by calling the Ticket Hotline on 01543 500001.
