SIR HENRY KNOCKS THEM OUT IN RUGBY
Bar Sport in Rugby is pleased to announce that Sir Henry Cooper will be
visiting them on Thursday 1st March to meet and talk to fans.
Henry Cooper was born in l934 and was Britain's most famous Heavyweight, winning the British, European and Commonwealth titles outright.
When he fought for the World Championship, he was the first boxer to knock down the World champion, Muhammad Ali.
Henry was awarded the OBE by HM The Queen and the KSG by his Holiness the Pope for his great contribution to sport and children's charities.
Bar Sport owner Scott Murray, who has made the bar Rugby's ultimate sports watching venue said "We are committed to bringing sporting legends to the town and are thrilled that Sir Henry will be joining us. He is known throughout Europe as Britain's most popular sporting personality. He is a fascinating man and is always a delight to see talking to fans."
To see Sir Henry Cooper at Bar Sport just come along to the bar on the High Street, Rugby between 6pm -8pm next Thursday. Tickets are free of charge and are available from Bar Sport.
