Beauty Goes Back to Bed - 17/01/06
Star of the Lichfield pantomime, Ayse Hassan has returned to Belles Chambres,
the luxury bed store where she launched her Sleeping Beauty role in December.
Local girl Ayse, 17 whose sights are clearly set on West End stardom was celebrating
success at the end of the run in her first professional lead role by trying out
one of the most extravagant beds in Britain. The bed, which looks like any other
spectacular circular bed has a couple of very special features – press
a button and a full size plasma screen TV rises up from the headboard. Press
another and the whole bed revolves so that you can watch it. Ayse, who’s
just had her first taste of stardom said “Wow, I want this bed – it’s
just the sort of thing I can see myself having, but I’m going to need a
few more leading roles first before I can afford one!”

Passers by were caught up in a fairytale last week when they saw Sleeping Beauty
dozing in the front window of Belles Chambres, Lichfield’s luxury bed and
bedding store.
