Lose yourself in the garden escape

Established in 2001, The Garden Escape, is a specialist designer and manufacturer of bespoke, luxury garden rooms.
From a base in Symonds Yat West in Herefordshire, co-directors Matthew Gill, Richard and Kathleen Harvey run a company that produces a range of bespoke garden rooms that can be used for any purpose, from home office to gym, from kids play area to somewhere to relax and chill out.
The inspiration for the company came when Richard and Kathleen Harvey were looking for an additional room for their own garden. Richard explains, “We were unable to find a company who could offer the quality and flexibility we needed so we created our own. In the process, it occurred to us that many other people might also be looking for a similar space solution for their own homes and The Garden Escape was born.”
The company now offers the complete package from design and manufacture to delivery and construction. “Our aim is that our customers should simply order their garden escape and then wait to move in. We take care of the whole process and ensure that any disruption during the construction phase is kept to a minimum,” explains Matthew Gill.
The Garden Escape is architecturally-backed and employs a professional building team in consultation with acclaimed building and structural engineers and the company will even check with local planning offices and make all the necessary arrangements should planning permission be required.
The management team all come from senior management roles within some of the UK’s largest blue chip retailers.
