BBC Good Homes Live It! The Garden Escape Media Reception

Inspiration and innovation are at the top of the list for The Garden Escape, who will exhibit three of their celebrity styled garden room designs in a revolutionary themed area at the BBC Good Homes Live It! show at the NEC next week.
Created to reflect individuality and the variety of uses for a high quality extra room in the garden, each of the buildings has been made over by the BBC’s home improvement and property experts Tommy Walsh and Melissa Porter. A Garden Escape has also been styled by Heart FM presenter, Dave Clarke who said that although he didn’t regard himself as a styling expert, he liked the prospect of putting together a ‘lads room’ that would be an ideal escape for him and his two sons, aged 7 & 3. All of the celebrities are waiting to see how their rooms turn out.

CELEBRITY GARDEN ESCAPES
Managing Director, Richard Harvey, explains, “What this make-over has shown is that Garden Escapes add so much more to a home than an extra room – they allow the space for people to indulge their style and passions in a way that they probably wouldn’t dare in a room in the house. It really does combine inspiration with practicality in an exploration of outdoor living and working.”
Throughout the show - which is being billed as an exciting day out for anyone who is passionate about life in the home and garden - the designers will be coming along to see how their creations turned out.
There are a variety of standard Garden Escape designs that can be adapted to suit individual needs, or we can create something completely bespoke to fit unusual spaces, sizes or locations. Our buildings are being used in gardens right across the UK mainly as offices or gyms, but there are also meditation suites and therapy rooms as well as a particular favourite which has a very impressive Scalextric layout.”
Husband and wife team Richard and Kath Harvey, had the idea to create garden spaces when they struggled to find a solution to meet their own space requirements. Richard explains: “We were unable to find anything contemporary with the quality and flexibility we needed so we created our own. Our designs are built to the highest standards and will feel like an additional room in your garden.”
