GREENHOUS GIVES NEW MINIBUS TO SHREWSBURY TOWN FC
Shrewsbury Town Football Club has been handed the keys to a brand new minibus by its main sponsor.
Greenhous LDV Van Centre, based in Shrewsbury, is supporting the club’s footballing future by transporting its Youth Department prodigies.
It delivered a sparkling 17-seater LDV Maxus to pitchside at New Meadow, in front of thousands of fans at half time on Saturday. (OCT 13)
The new model will mainly be used by the club’s 16 to 18-year-olds and is adorned with club and Greenhous logos, making it easily recognisable.
Steve Wellbeloved, chief executive of Shrewsbury Town, was handed the keys by Christine Ward and Colin Moore of Greenhous LDV Van Centre, which is based in Battlefield Enterprise Park, March Way, Harlescott.
Mr Wellbeloved said: “Greenhous is Shrewsbury Town’s main sponsor and we would like to thank them for their continued support.
“This Maxus minibus will be a big boost to the Youth Department and we hope it will help to improve the club’s footballing future.”
Christine Ward, Sales Manager of Greenhous LDV Van Centre, said: “We are delighted to continue our support of Shrewsbury Town Football Club and believe this minibus can help drive forward the footballing fortunes of the club’s younger players.”
