Greenhous supplies ‘souped-up’ van that isn’t stationary
16/001/08
One of Shropshire’s most well-known businesses has handed over the keys to a one-of-a-kind van that won’t be ‘stationary’.
The bespoke vehicle, fitted with a range of extras by Greenhous Shrewsbury, has been delivered to family-run office supplies business Chrisbeon, based in Telford.
The LDV Maxus was modified with specially built Luton body - a separate cargo hold behind the main cab - that wasn’t available directly from the manufacturer at the time of ordering – but now is.
There are also a range of smart extras fitted including built-in sat nav, alloy wheels and air conditioning.
It is the latest of three new vans to be delivered to Chrisbeon in the past year, which has updated its fleet due to an increasing number of office furniture installations across the country.
Richard Hughes, Partner at Chrisbeon, said he was delighted with the new van.
“This specially adapted Maxus van is a valuable addition to our fleet and will make us much more efficient every day.
“We are grateful to Greenhous for taking the time to listen to our needs and come up with an excellent, customised solution.”
Colin Moore, Van Sales Executive at Greenhous Shrewsbury, said it was great to offer a unique solution to his customers.
“We work hard to deliver everything exactly right for our customers, so taking the time to understand exactly what Chrisbeon wanted has paid off.
“They have been a loyal and happy customer for a number of years and we now buy our office furniture and stationery from them.”
He said Greenhous’s 24-hour back up and vehicle service facility, together with high standards of customer service, had kept them ahead of the competition.
