A GREAT BODY IN ONLY EIGHT WEEKS
The wheels have been set in motion by Greenhous DAF Shrewsbury to bring a unique one stop shop to the town on behalf of a market-leading supplier.
The industry first has been introduced by DAF to ensure truck customers get a better deal as it could halve the time it takes for delivery of trucks to businesses in the county. It also means they won’t have to go elsewhere for the body.
The new factory bodied DAF LF series light truck is revolutionary, because it comes straight off the production line complete with its load carrying body, rather than just as a chassis cab that a customer would have to arrange to have fitted to separately. Clients can still customise their truck with a choice of factory designed box or curtain-sided body, roller shutter or double rear doors and even column mounted or tuck away tail-lifts.
Kevin Comerford, sales director at Greenhous Shrewsbury, said he was proud to be bringing an industry first to his customers.“The 7.5 tonne DAF LF series is Britain’s most popular light truck and the factory built bodies are going to make them even easier and quicker to own,” he said.
“It means we are a one stop shop which could save the customer up to eight weeks and simplify the purchasing process.”
