EX-PRO SNOOKER PLAYERS TO COMPETE IN BIRMINGHAM

Ex-professional snooker players will gather to compete at a top Birmingham venue.

The English Masters is arriving at Hall Green Greyhound Stadium’s Snooker Club this Sunday. (December 16)

There will be 10 of the UK’s best Masters players competing in a round robin competition for the Southern Qualifiers.

They include Nick Pearce, from Gloucester, who made it to the last 16 of the UK Championships in 2002.

All players are members of the English Association of Snooker and Billiards (EASB) and they are all over the age of 40.

The contest is free to attend and refreshments will be available at the snooker club.

Adam Osborne, Snooker Club Manager, said it was a major event for the club.

“We are delighted to be hosting this English Masters tournament, I’m sure it will be a very exciting event to watch.
