Christmas Walk & Treasure Hunt for Perry Barr Retired Greyhounds
20/12/07
A Christmas Walk and Treasure Hunt is being held in aid of Perry Barr Stadium’s Retired Greyhound Trust.
It is an ideal opportunity to walk off your Christmas dinner and take in some fresh air, as well as meet new friends and their pets.
The Treasure Hunt will be a staggered start at Rowington Working Men’s Club in Lapworth, Warwickshire, from 10.30am on Sunday, December 30th.
There will be lunch provided from 12pm, including for those who do not even wish to walk. And well behaved greyhounds are even welcome inside the club, which is five minutes from J4 of the M42.
Carol Chown-Smith, General Manager at Perry Parr Stadium, said: “This post-Christmas get together is a great way to walk off the seasonal excesses and a chance to meet some beautiful greyhounds among fellow animal lovers.”
Tickets are £6 per person or £20 for four, with proceeds going to help find homes for retired greyhounds that raced at Perry Barr Stadium in Birmingham. For more details call Julie Sadler on 0774 775 4759 or visit www.rgtperrybarr.co.uk.
Merry Christmas!
