BONFIRE NIGHT BONANZA AT HALL GREEN GREYHOUND STADIUM
Firework fans can enjoy a spectacular Bonfire Night Bonanza in Birmingham, thanks to Hall Green Greyhound Stadium.

The track stepped in after Birmingham City Council pulled its Edgbaston event, leaving the south of the city without a display this year.

Thousands of people can now attend the first ever Bonfire Night extravaganza to be held at the York Road stadium, which takes place on Monday. (NOVEMBER 5)

There will be a wealth of entertainment, including a bonfire and fireworks display costing thousands of pounds, fairground rides, fire-eaters and stilt walkers.

Youngsters can dance the night away at a children’s disco and the ‘Bring Your Own Guy Fawkes’ competition is offering a prize to the best one.

Stephen Rea, General Manager of Hall Green, said: “When we heard the council display had been moved from Edgbaston cricket ground we decided we had to do something for the people of south Birmingham.

“We hope it offers an enjoyable alternative to a time-consuming trek across the city for the council events.”
