Credit Crunch Offers Opportunity for Property Investors
17/03/08
Finding acash deposit can be as much of an obstacle for people who want to begin a property investment portfolio as those wanting to get onto the first rung of the property ladder. But while first time buyers usually turn to a combination of good old fashioned saving and finding the right, affordable mortgage product, for would-be investors there is now another way. They have always been able to use savings or withdraw some of the equity in their property, but now the services of a specialist company that allows investors to buy with zero investment are available.

People
Queuing for Property
There were queues of people waiting when the Property Investor
Show opened its doors for the first time in Birmingham this morning. The
show, which is a magnet for people who are serious about making money from
property has over 100 exhibitors with opportunities and property related
services in the UK and overseas. The majority of the seminar places, which
are delivered by various renowned experts are mainly sold out and are being
well received by the delegates visiting, although organisers are holding
back some seminar places for general availability to minimise any disappointment
for people turning up on the day.
IT’S
GOOD TO TALK - AND IT COULD JUST KEEP YOU OUT OF COURT!
Buy-to-let may seem like a sound way to make money and there’s
certainly a lot of us getting involved with £38.4 billion buy-to-let
loans handed out during 2006. Buy-to-let now represents 9% of the value
of all mortgage balances, so it appears that the market is still booming
with fledgling landlords starting up every day. But it’s not all
rosy in your rented garden. What happens when your tenant turns into a
bad tenant? How do you deal with unpaid rental, trashed property and ultimately
unpaid mortgage repayments?
SUNSHINE

Birmingham next weekend, showcases a wide choice of investment opportunities
from the UK as well as abroad.

PREPARING
TO BE A GOOD LANDLORD
Following the recent release of the Report for Social Housing commissioned

in a better situation in Council or housing association accommodation than

being given an unfair, questionable facade.

a fact borne out by The Property Investor Show, which is making its Birmingham
