Help at hand for mortgage seekers
07/04/08

For mortgage seekers with credit crunch blues and property investors who need a cash injection, the current financial climate is posing problems.
Money is still available to borrow, but it is more difficult to get hold of, so the answer lies in finding the right lender.

In the past few days some mortgage firms have stopped lending to new customers and most are becoming increasingly stringent on lending criteria.
For anyone determined to get a mortgage for their home, shopping around on the high street and online should produce some results, but it could be a long, hard slog and for anyone wanting to borrow for investment purposes, professional assistance is becoming increasingly important.

But the answers could be found at The Property Investor Show at the NEC on April 11th – 13th, where a selection of leading home and investment finance experts will be on hand. It is part of the Midlands biggest event for people serious about making money from property. They can advise on the right products and approach for either individual, or investment finance.

Making money from property usually hinges on being able to borrow the money to buy it in the first place, and as the effects of the credit crunch filter down to the real people in Britain who want a mortgage to buy their home, things can appear to be a little difficult.

Show organiser Nick Clark said “The show is aimed at people who are serious about making money from property and the mortgage and finance exhibitors are geared up for lending money for the purchase of property as an investment, but they lend money for home purchase too and I think that this weekend will offer an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for a mortgage for their own home to talk to a variety of experts who should be able to help.”

The show is free to enter via an online registration at www.propertyinvestor.co.uk and as well as around 100 exhibitors with properties, ideas, inspiration and opportunities as well as the way to fund and manage them, a popular series of seminars from industry experts will offer advice, insight and encouragement.
