Ad Agency in Educating Wins
08/12/06
It’s been an educating month for Staffordshire based full service advertising agency Ward Lovett. They are celebrating two major account wins with learning-based clients. The first is the global advertising, marketing and PR account for Executive Education at the internationally acclaimed Aston Business School. The brief tackles every aspect of the marketing mix and will see Aston Business School being promoted to a global executive audience.
Kerst Ward, the agency’s MD said “We have been working with Aston Business School for some time now, and were pleased to be invited to pitch. The pitching process means that we are judged on merit, demonstrating creativity and strategic thinking, so we were particularly delighted to have won out against some very strong London competition. Creativity in the counties is alive and very much kicking. The new business wins should see us increasing our staffing levels too.”
The second education win follows a phenomenally successful media test campaign for Dore, the creators of a training programme described as a ‘miracle cure for dyslexia’. Ward Lovett is to roll out a substantial six-figure national press and broadcast campaign using one of the brand new ‘celebrity’ concepts they have created. The agency won the business in a four-way competitive pitch which included new branding as well as a detailed media strategy.
Justine Page, the agency’s client services director who lead the Dore pitch said “We created an initial test campaign for Dore which proved very successful. It demonstrated the power of properly planned and well thought out media, and now the combination of our planning and the new creative approach should see some even more impressive results. The Dore programme is based on exercises to improve concentration in children and adults. We’ve had great fun working with some of the apparatus during the pitch it’s easy to see how it makes a difference. We’re delighted to be working with Dore, and their programme.”
Ward Lovett looks after consumer and B2B clients regionally, nationally and now internationally and currently has billings in excess of £7m.
