STAFFORDSHIRE FIRM MAKES A NEW SIGNING
A successful Staffordshire company has made a new signing in a bid to boost the live music scene. Cannock-based public relations and advertising agency Ward Lovett has appointed Andy Rea to its expanding team. And one of his first tasks was to join the firm’s rock band, which is preparing to perform a live gig later this year.
The 28-year-old, a passionate music fan and festival-goer, was a news editor and reporter on daily newspapers for the previous six years. He will now be responsible for handling public relations accounts for an array of Ward Lovett’s clients and running exciting campaigns right across the UK.
Andy, who grew up in Abbots Bromley near Lichfield but now lives in Wolverhampton, said singing with the band was an added bonus.
“This is a very exciting move for me and I am really looking forward to the fresh challenge of the role - and that’s not just being part of the Ward Lovett band,” he said.
“I will be taking on many responsibilities from ambassador and adviser to writer, photographer and every other task that crops up, to make sure we achieve the best for our clients and tackle each task in good spirits.”
Established in 1994, Ward Lovett has billings of £8 million per year from providing public relations, advertising and media services for businesses and organisations in print, on the air and anywhere else that a marketing message can be delivered.
