At the Autosport International Show at Birmingham’s NEC today, Dunlop has agreed a contract to supply the prestigious Britcar GT and Production Championships for a further four seasons.
The Britcar GT Championship is the biggest championship of its type in the UK. Bringing endurance racing to circuits all over the UK, Britcar has become the country’s fastest and most popular National GT Championship. 2010 will see the return of the Britcar 24 hour race, Britain’s ‘blue-riband’ endurance racing event at Silverstone on October 2nd/3rd.
An eclectic mix of cars as diverse as Porsche, Ferrari, Mosler, BMW, Marcos and Ginetta battle for overall and class wins in this popular high-profile championship. The championship is supported by the Production Championship for touring car style saloons and coupes.
