COUSINS FURNITURE TAKES CENTRE STAGE ON THE STREET One of the UK’s leading furniture retailers has taken a starring role on screen in front of millions of viewers – in last night’s (July 14) Coronation Street.
Cousins, which has stores in Tyseley, Birmingham and Dudley, saw its flagship store in Manchester take centre stage on the Street in an episode with John Stape (Graeme Hawley) masquerading as a member of staff in a high end furniture store.

Food For Thought at Aston UniversityAston University has opened an ‘around the world’ dining experience at its Birmingham city centre campus. An investment of £850,000 has created Cafe Tierra, a 7158 sq foot food court, replacing 3 other eateries at various locations in the same building. The project has also relocated a Costa Coffee outlet as well as creating 13 new jobs.
